The Colcord Hotel is committed to protecting the environment, the health and safety of our employees, and the community in which we conduct our business. In September 2009, the Colcord Hotel became the first hotel in the state to partner with Clean The World (CTW), a non-profit recycling organization that distributes gently-used soaps to impoverished areas. It is our policy to seek improvements throughout our business operations to lessen our impact on the local and global environment by conserving energy, water, and other natural resources; reducing waste generation; recycling and purchasing recycled products; and reducing our use of toxic materials.  We will seek the participation of our guests where possible to extend our ability to reduce waste and pollution while providing a memorable impression.
